Multiple Sclerosis
There are so many families affected with
Multiple Sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic,
often disabling disease that attacks the
central nervous system (CNS), which is
made up of the brain, spinal cord, and
optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild,
such as numbness in the limbs, or severe,
such as paralysis or loss of vision. The
progress, severity, and specific symptoms
of MS are unpredictable and vary from one
person to another. As of now there is NO
Cure for the disease. There are over
300,000 people Diagnosed with MS and
the numbers are sadly rising.

about Multiple
Sclerosis

We have chosen Multiple Sclerosis as our
Charity.  People with MS have lots of needs.
Every Season brings on new symptoms. Heat is
a HUGE trigger for symptoms to start. A rise in
the body temperature of even a degree can start
symptoms. A lot of people affected with MS are
unable to work due to many of the symptoms.
That alone, causes  many needs. Stress, is
another major trigger of exacerbating symptoms
of MS. Stress can be something emotional, or an
illness, heat/cold change of weather or trying to
decide if they should buy there medicines, pay
bills, or clothes for their children and school
supplies and tuition, oddly even good stress can
trigger the symptoms like a family reunion,
holidays, or just going to a picnic with their kids.

There are many ways that you can help people
suffering from MS. Every bit helps. I have listed
some items that you may have just laying around
and not using, along with some other ideas as
well.
